The evolution of esquire.com built with a team of two designers, a scrum master, a project manager and 2 developers.
Hearst originally would sell certain parts of the website to advertising and would use that moment to redesign the page, but not necessarily the site. However, for this redesign we choose to take it one step further and to build something that was simplified where the design look could transfer to not just the homepage, but to it’s subpages. This was Esquire’s final look before Hearst rolled out a new system in which all of the brand’s website were built using the same look and platform.
